Greenmount clover-based farms
Two of the farms at Greenmount Campus make extensive use of clover-based swards.
They are used for demonstration and teaching purposes.
The Abbey farm is being managed to demonstrate best practice in red meat production from grass, including clover-based swards.

Activities and results
The Organic Unit at Greenmount has only grass-clover swards and uses no artificial fertiliser at all.
