Breeding Policy

The herd comprises of commercial and pedigree Holstein/Friesian. Breeding decisions over the last number of years have resulted in a herd capable of producing high yields of milk. The data for cows and heifers shows that this potential is also on the increase as a result of our choice of bulls. Criteria are set each year for the selection of sires for replacements. Bulls are then chosen to meet these criteria.
