Farmers’ Markets and Food Fairs

Organic producers regularly attend Farmers’ Markets including those in Ballymoney, Belfast (St George’s), Coleraine, Dungannon, L/Derry, Omagh, Strabane and Templepatrick.
Organic producers also sometimes attend seasonal markets and food fairs.

Supermarkets

Many supermarket chains sell a range of organic produce, though individual stores vary in the range they sell. The amount of local produce in them is small, and this guide indicates what you should look out for.
Smaller local supermarkets and convenience stores sometimes stock organic food, and some stock locally produced items including milk, vegetables and potatoes.

How can I get more local organic produce ?

Supporting local producers helps increase the amount of organic food available and asking for organic produce in your local food store encourages them to stock it.
