Kilkeel Animal Health Challenge

Members of the Kilkeel Animal Health Challenge for Dairy Farmers group recently attended a farm workshop on the Focus Farm of Gary and Michael McHenry, Kilmore, Lurgan.   Local vet Marcus White MRCVS discussed the control of mastitis, lameness, dry cow management and calf health with the Challenge group in Kilkeel.   A total of 19 dairy farmers from the Mourne area participated and the farm visit was used to discuss the practicalities of controlling disease at farm level.
