JFC Innovation Awards for Rural Business 2009 Finalists
The All Ireland finalists for the 2009 JFC Innovation Awards for Rural Business have been announced and we extend our congratulations to them. This year we had in excess of ninety entries with a superb standard. Judging involved meeting and interviewing all eligible applicants in Naas, Mallow, Killorglin, Athenry, Antrim and Enniskillen.
The awards finale will take place on Tuesday 10 March 2009 at the Mullingar Park Hotel, Co Westmeath 
(one hour from Dublin), where category winners and the overall winner will be announced. The standard was such that the judges also selected a number of “Highly Commended” participants who will share in a prize fund consisting of advertising and mentoring. The overall winner will receive a prize valued at 15,000 euro consisting of equal amounts of cash, advertising and business mentoring.
