Willie – 46 years of dedication

Willie Dodds retired recently from his stockman post at the Greenmount Hill Farm after 46 years of dedicated service.
Over all these years Willie has been shown great respect by his fellow colleagues, farm managers, students and visitors alike. During his employment Willie was totally committed, enthusiastic and hard working in spite of some extremely adverse weather conditions. His wealth of experience when dealing with many changes at the Hill Farm over the years was immense and hundreds of students have benefited from his breadth and depth of knowledge of hill farming and in particular suckler cows.
To mark the occasion of Willie’s retirement a dinner and presentation, held at the Ross Park Hotel, saw a large gathering of Willie’s colleagues, family and friends.
