SEMINARS ON DARD FUNDING FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS

Farmers, Rural Businesses and Community Groups could benefit from a new funding programme for renewable energy projects, which is now available through the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme, administered by The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) and delivered locally by Local Action Groups (LAGs).
Eligible applicants can apply for 50 percent of eligible project costs upto a maximum of £50,000 funding per project. Funding is also available for 50 percent of the cost of technical assistance up to a maximum of £5,000 per application.

For more information on the application process and project eligibility come along to Practical On Farm Renewable Energy 2012 at Enniskillen Campus on Wednesday 22 February where there will be seminars on funding running at 2.00 pm and 6.00pm.
