DARD Online Services – Internet Browser support

An internet browser is a piece of software which allows you to access and view web pages, such as APHIS Online. All Microsoft Windows equipped PC’s come with the web browser, Internet Explorer. DARD has designed their Online Services to work with Internet Explorer.
Other browsers are available, including popular choices, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. These browsers can sometimes display web pages differently to Internet Explorer, resulting in some DARD Online services not functioning correctly.

Updating Web Browser, security and version number

No matter which web browser you choose to use it is important that you use the latest version. Most browsers should update automatically or prompt you to update when a new version is available.
Updating your browser ensures you have the best possible security features. Over time older browsers will become vulnerable to attack. You can check your browser version number by selecting the option “About” from your browser settings menu.
