Challenges

Challenges programmes for farmers and growers

Challenges are a series of Business Growth Programmes designed to improve the profitability of your farm business. They are structured to help enhance your business performance within your own particular situation. The Challenges will help you:
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Implement action required
  • Increase profitability
  • Grow your business

How do Challenges happen.

Working in a small group setting with other farmers from your area, the Challenges provide a sociable, interactive and informal environment for the exchange of ideas, information and experience. Your local Business Development Adviser coordinates the delivery of the Challenges, organising:
  • Group meetings/workshops,
  • Industry speakers,
  • Farm and industry visits
  • One to one support
Comprehensive learning materials are provided and on completion there is an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

When do Challenges happen.

The Challenges are an ongoing process. They range from 6 to 12 sessions depending on the particular Challenge. Check individual challenges for exact details.
