The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) together with leading land based organisations has organized two events for farmers who farm in the LFAs (less favoured areas).

To help LFA, Suckler herd and Sheep managers to:
  • Understand the importance of livestock in the management of LFA’s.
  • Exhibition Stand area
  • Consider ways to improve livestock production efficiency.
  • Field Tours by Mini Bus (some walking).
  • Effectively manage in-bye land and Habitats.
  • Allow 3 hours for tour
  • Manage Rush & Heather to meet scheme requirements.
  • Food and refreshment stall.
  • Make the most of agri-environment schemes.
